We have a vacancy for an elected Parent Governor – nomination forms to be completed and handed in to the school office by Friday 15th March 2024 at 2pm.

If you have a child at Hawthorn Primary School and you have the time and commitment to serve as a Parent Governor, this is your chance to get involved. We would particularly welcome parents with skills, experience, or an understanding of at least one of the following areas: different cultures and home backgrounds, premises, and the law. These would enhance existing skills on the Governing Body and balance the support that Governors give School.

If you want to go ahead, we ask that you complete a nomination form, the form will require you to have it sanctioned by two proposers who have children at our school.
