School uniform is widely available at most high street shops and supermarkets.
Our school uniform consists of:
- Red sweatshirt or cardigan with or without the school logo.
- White shirt or polo shirt.
- Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore.
- Red checked summer dress.
- Sensible black shoes.
- Waterproof coat.

P.E. Kit
We expect all children to change for PE, this is for hygiene as well as health and safety of the pupils.
All P.E kit needs to be brought into school on Monday (am) and taken home Friday (p.m).
Indoor Kit
Pupils need a labelled school bag / rucksack for their kit (not a plastic carrier bag) containing:
- Plain black shorts
- White T shirt or polo shirt
- Black Pumps
- Track suit top and bottoms for some outdoor activities

Indoor kit plus Trainers, jogging bottoms and warm jumper or tracksuit
If your child forgets to bring P.E kit they will be allocated any spare P.E kit in school.
Please make sure all kit is marked with your child’s name and class.
Swimming
Pupils in Year 5 attend a weekly 60 minute swimming session at Armthorpe Leisure Centre.
In order to adhere to the health and safety regulations boys must wear appropriate swimming trunks and girls a one-piece swimming costume.
Long hair must be tied back or a swimming cap used.
Jewellery
In order to adhere to the health and safety regulations – no item of jewellery can be worn at school except for a watch and ear studs or to conform to religious beliefs.
- Pupils must remove jewellery to participate in any P.E. except to conform to religious beliefs
- Ear-studs have to be removed or taped up during Physical Education lessons to prevent accidents.If your child cannot remove the studs themselves please provide tape or plasters to cover them. School does not provide the tape.
- No body piercing other than ear studs are allowed.
- Unless a child is excused for PE or swimming by medical note, they will be requested to participate fully.
